Plants Vs. Zombies is considered the number 1 fastest selling video game by Popcap and now I see the reason why...I really do not buy a lot of video/computer video games but this online game is addictive so when I played a little bit of this I knew I had to have it. The game concept is simple. You use defensive plants that are all armed to avoid zombies from achieving your house and eating your brains- A type of tower defense idea. All of the plants and zombies have various personalities and the actual plants are in existence in a sense. Some move, flash and all do different things to prevent the zombies from reaching your house.
The Plants-
In order to name a couple of we have "Peashooters"- a pea that spits out peas at the actual zombies, a "Lead pages"- who squashes the zombie when this gets near this, a "Tall-Nut" which blocks the zombies path as he munches through this, Watermelon Catapults, Cactuses that spit spikes, bombs, mines, mushrooms that sleep during the day, sunflowers which produce sun for you to use the plants and much more. Probably around forty-nine different plants you can collect. You obtain a certain number of slots for various plants to make use of during each degree, you can buy up to 10.
The actual Zombies-
The Zombies are various different. Some of them are normal zombies, that are easy to beat, some have road cones on their own heads (even tougher), metal buckets (really hard) and some are giants ( that carries a infant on his back again), also football players, a zombie in the 70's who would wear bell bottoms and has back up dancers and many much more. There was another zombie dancer originally and I loved him better but they had to consider him out of the game due in order to him resembling a particular celebrity who lets say you know as once performing like a zombie and dancing. So now they took him from the game they replaced him with a spook who wears chime bottoms and essentially is a 70's dancer, along with 4 backup dancers coming towards the house. We even possess a dolphin zombie... Additionally, a secret zombie who you find the 2nd time around in Adventure Setting. There's tons of them.
The levels include Day/Night, Pool and Roof. Within each of these levels you fight against the zombies in your yard during your day, the night-time, the pool, the pool at night, the roof during the day and finally fight the big Dr. Zomboss who rides a huge mechanical zombie and sits inside it while throwing out a lot of zombies and squashing your plants.
Not only do you get the amounts, you also obtain 20 Mini-Games, Survival Mode, Puzzles, Almanacs as well as Awards. Plus a Zen Garden to develop plants and market them to a guy named "Crazy Dork"- this guy offers you goods and plants, you can buy a bunch associated with stuff from him.
You can additionally buy an Aquarium tank Garden, a snail to pick upward silver and coins that the vegetation give, A Mushroom Garden and a Tree of Knowledge (which grows) that you feed with fertilizer and spouts away different "tips" for that game as nicely as doing unique things when this reaches a certain height.- For example you can develop it to one hundred or 500 feet and at a certain height the zombies will do special things in the game. Plus you could make your own Zombie Avatar and he or she also appears in the game itself, so far i've made three and they all appear in the game spontaneously, as among the zombies coming to the house.
There's also a music video at the conclusion, the credits which has the sunflower performing and the zombies all dance/ If you listen to it a couple times it's very catchy and the actual songs sticks in your head.
There are numerous Easter Eggs in this game, different things to discover, and a lot of stuff. This is like a bunch of different video game concepts in one. Especially with the mini-games. There's such the variation and if you beat the Adventure Mode, The Success Mode is actually harder, so you've that to challenge you.
This game is well well worth the money considering the amount of time of fun you will get out of this. I have been playing it on-n-off for a month and I am still not finished with everything. I still have survival modes to accomplish, still haven't grown my Wisdom Sapling enough to observe them dance, but still haven't completed the mini-game.
My personal only complaint is actually I wish there were more levels or different scenes. As with we get the Daytime Yard, The Roof, The Pool as well as Dark. I wish there were an additional background or much more levels to play though there is....
They should launch Plants Vs. Zombies 2- I would definitely buy this. It's a excellent game. Never would I dream up the thought of using plants as the defense against zombies but this actually works. It is absurd but it's brilliant.
